1-on-1 Leadership Coaching
Ready to be a great marketing leader? Let’s get you there.
You’ve just stepped into a Director, VP, or Head of Marketing role and suddenly the expectations feel different. You’re being asked for the strategy, getting feedback on your presence, constantly performance-managing your team, asked to make decisions with incomplete information, and own outcomes beyond your team’s work. Maybe you’re already doing much of that, but you’re not seen as the person who leads marketing.
Succeeding as a marketing leader requires a different set of skills than succeeding as a marketer.
That’s the transition I help you make.
My 1-on-1 coaching is designed for ambitious women who want to move from high-achieving marketer to confident, strategic marketing leader, without feeling like they have to become someone else to get there.
What we work on together
Move from execution to strategy
Stop being the person who simply gets things done and become the person who determines what should be done. Learn to step back from the tactics, connect marketing to business priorities, make stronger strategic decisions, and confidently set direction.
Lead marketing with confidence
Develop your own point of view and trust yourself to make the call. Get comfortable making decisions without having every answer, taking ownership when things don’t go as planned, and confidently saying, “Here’s what I think we should do.”
Build executive presence
Communicate your ideas clearly and with authority, especially when the stakes are high. Learn to be concise, make stronger recommendations, challenge ideas when necessary, and develop a bigger voice in the room without pretending to be someone you’re not.
Increase your influence
Marketing leaders rarely succeed through authority alone. Learn how to build credibility with executives, navigate difficult stakeholders, influence cross-functional decisions, make your impact visible, and get people behind your ideas.
Become a stronger people leader
Your job is no longer just to produce great work. It’s to create an environment where other people can do great work. Learn to delegate, give feedback, set expectations, coach your team, handle difficult conversations, and lead through ambiguity and change.
Position yourself for the next level
If you’re ready for a Director, VP, Head of Marketing, or CMO role, we’ll get intentional about what needs to change to get you there. Identify the gaps between how you’re operating today and what’s expected at the next level, then build a plan to close them.
Create success you can actually sustain
Leadership can consume every available hour if you let it. We’ll work on prioritization, boundaries, letting go of perfectionism, and deciding where your attention actually matters so you can be ambitious without making work your entire life.
Coaching built for marketing leaders
I’m not a retired marketer in a chair imagining what marketing looks like today.
I’ve spent 20+ years building and leading marketing in Silicon Valley, from startups to Fortune 500 tech companies. And I still fractionally lead marketing at high-growth AI startups today.
So when you bring me a messy leadership problem, I understand the context.
The CEO keeps throwing “ideas” your way that derails your strategy. The sales leader constantly throws marketing under the bus. The team member who is underperforming, but you can’t afford to lose because you’re underwater already. The executive meeting where you need to hold your position against the barrage of objections and questions. The promotion you know you’re ready for but haven’t been given for one reason or another.
We work through the actual situations you’re facing and help you become a stronger leader through them.
Coaching is 100% confidential.
I don’t report back to your manager, HR team, or company, even when your company is paying for your coaching.
I’m YOUR coach.
That means you have a place to say the things you can’t always say at work. To admit when you don’t know what to do. To work through the conversation before you have it. To question yourself. To get challenged. And to figure out what you actually want.
Leadership can be lonely. You don’t have to figure all of it out by yourself.

FAQs
-
It’s up to you and the topic. Typically my clients like to use Zoom so they can share their screen if they need to review something with me. Others like to take some sessions over the phone if they want to stretch their legs or get outside to help them think better.
-
Yes. I offer a free 30-45 minute coaching session for anyone who is considering to be a client, as a way for you to assess my style. I have found that doing a live session is more effective than explaining my coaching philosophy, etc. If you like what you experience, then you can sign up for more sessions. If not, no hard feelings, and you can move on to finding the right coach for you.
-
Your first session as a client will have a little more focus on discussing your big goals, aspirations, and your “why” for seeking coaching now. And we will also do a standard session where we focus on a topic that is most top of mind for you.
-
You’re probably looking for coaching because you have some big goals in mind. In our sessions, we dive into those topics and in between sessions, you have work to do. By having sessions every other week, you have the opportunity to take those actions, reflect on them, and continue building to make faster progress towards your goals.
-
Yes! As a busy marketing leader, things pop up all the time, so I’m happy to give you quick thoughts on your topic over email. I believe that what we accomplish in our sessions is different from emails, and both are valuable!
-
I believe that coaching is a shorter and focused engagement. Once you have completed your minimum session commitment (e.g., 6 sessions), you can extend for additional sessions as needed. In most cases, meeting twice a week for 3-6 months, you’ll make significant progress towards your biggest goals. If you feel that it’s time to go out on your own again, just let me know and we’ll do one last session to wrap up our relationship. You’re also always welcome to return at a later point, as many of my clients do.
